Modular Seattle invited me to perform live visuals for Light Time Delay, An Anomalous Wave and Marc Barecca. Light Time Delay is an ambient/micro-sound project by Théa-Martine Gauthier, a software architectCan you at NASA.

The show revolved around identity, gravity, and black holes. Théa-Martine and I built a system beforehand that read a dataset from Voyager 1’s 1979 Jupiter flyby. We synced over LTC, so the same datapoints shaped sound and image simultaneously.

Gaussian splats scanned from the venue and from nature ran alongside strange attractors and other particle systems built in TouchDesigner’s POPs.

All visuals generated in real time in TouchDesigner.
