Stage design and live visuals for Handsmade’s Left Listening Tour, featuring M. Sayyid, Jel, AJ Suede and Leandrul. Projection mapping onto five surfaces and DMX-controlled LED tubes.

The show mainly consisted of rap/hip-hop performers, so I wanted to create a visual experience that emphasizes the artists’ performance, keeping the audience’s focus on the performer. I did this by breaking up the projection surfaces, constraining the area with projection surfaces on the front of the stage, and leaning on textural content.
